Himself and I had another evening of volunteering at a Whole
Foods cooking class. The class was “Italian
Winter Feast” taught by my favorite instructor, Chef Dan Maggipinto of Café Nonna
in Nashville.
How good is Chef Dan?
Well, he’s is good enough that he was featured on The Food Network’s “Diners,
Drive-Ins, and Dives”. The show will be
aired again on 29 March at 7:30pm CDT. I’m
excited to see it!
Anyway, the menu for the class was Salad of mixed greens
with pickled fennel & red onions and blood orange vinaigrette, Italian
sausage & lentil bruschetta, Chicken Roulade stuffed with fontina, prosciutto,
and a sage marsala sauce, butternut squash risotto, challah bread pudding with crème
anglaise.

course.
