Thanksgiving Past

We spent a quiet Thanksgiving in Tennessee this year.  We talked about what we were grateful for, watched a movie, ...

and had a delicious supper.

You're seeing a roast duck with herb de provence seasoning, homemade cranberry sauce, sauce for the duck, wild rice with wine soaked cherries, stuffing, and green beans we put up this summer.

Duck with the sauce (a white wine-cherry-rosemary concoction I came up with... and it was SO good!).

My loaded up plate.

Himself made a fresh blueberry pie from scratch...right down to the crust.  There was some seriously bubbling action going on and my crumb topping kind of melted down.  But you know what?  It tasted perfect.
