Red-dy For Autumn!

The red leaves say, “stop growing…

… It’s time to put away!”

While birds feast on autumn berries,

We feast on our last tomatoes.

Soon it will be time for cranberry sauce!

And apple pies and tarts and doughnuts.

It’s time for giving thanks.

This is a link-up blog in response to Razmataz photo challenge "Red".

  1. Catching up on your last few posts - it seems I only get around to visiting all my favorites once a week or less these days!

You've captured the autumn colors beautifully - love the red and orange themes! The cranberries - where is that? Somewhere around here? My favorite is the close up of the stack of pumpkins.

And speaking of Red - I'm happy to hear something positive about it. I wanted to see it last weekend, but we simply couldn't squeeze it in, then we read some bad reviews...which really didn't bother us, because most films we like get bad reviews.

    We have no taste.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for giving us Lambert's! I have been wanting to go there since my son told me about it a few years ago...only he couldn't remember the name or the city. We'll be making a little trip there soon!

  4. I like how the one tomato gave a shock of red in that photo.

  5. I am fascinated by cranberry bogs. Something about men in waders sloshing through pools of berries....

    Enjoy your weekend!
