The other day I was in the garden center of a certain big box store when some really bright gaudy color caught my eye. I glanced over for a better look... then walked over because I just could not believe what I was seeing...
They were selling PAINTED prickly pear cactus!!
UGH.
Really... who would want such a thing? And it got worse... at the same retailer in a different town there were the same poor ugly little cactus...plus some aloe that had be entirely spray painted purple.
If there is someone out there that really must have a purple cactus, go buy an artificial one at Hobby Lobby or somewhere and spare a living cactus.
Ok, I agree.....don't dye cactus!! Don't dye flowers period. I love their natural colors.
