My next combined project used the challenge ‘numbers’ from
“Take a Word” and “Artist Play Room” had us to use our favorite color(s) in a
project. As soon as I saw the Take a Word
challenge I knew my number had to be 50… for my Fabulous 50th Year!
Using my favorite colors of purple, deep blue, and teal just
made it that much more perfect.
I decided on this piece I wanted to work with fiber art. The soft purple and teal yarn on the 50
contrasts with the rough burlap background in both color and texture.
This piece won’t be completed until 13 July 2013…when I turn 51.
In those open areas, I am going to document thru tiny art pieces
(photographic still life, collage, painting, etc) the significant things in my
life this year.
I hope there’s enough room!
This is looking great. Thanks for stopping by Posed Perfection and leaving me a sweet comment this week on my Ozark Apple Cake post. You were right...the movie was Sleepless in Seattle. It's one of my favorites. I hope you'll visit again soon. Have a great weekend!
