Gourmet Green

This week’s photo challenge was “green”.  Hmmmm… what did I want to do with this one?

I pondered “green” as I munched on my lunch of an absolutely ripe and juicy honeydew melon.    What to shoot… what to shoot…??

All afternoon I thought on it.  Still couldn’t come up with anything, so I just picked some basil from my garden for some Caprese salads for supper.

Might as well grab some peppers for stuffing…

… and some tomatoes for frying.

Glad my tarragon survived the summer heat!  I had to cut some a couple nights ago when I discovered I was out of dried.

Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme.   LOL  Didn’t realize as I was planting that I have a musical garden!

I’ve never grown garlic before, so I don’t know if mine is looking good or not…

… but my asparagus is doing great!  I have all sorts new shoots coming up even tho it is September.  So hard to not pick it!!

Well, I guess I’d better stop worrying about what green thing I can make photos of and get back inside to start supper.

Maybe I’ll think of something after supper...
